Daring Bakers - Challenge TEN!

This happy February,
In the joyous spirit of Valentine Love,
We The Daring Bakers, present to you...

The Chocolate Valentino.

The February 2009 challenge is hosted by Wendy of WMPE's blog and Dharm of Dad ~ Baker & Chef. We have chosen a Chocolate Valentino cake by Chef Wan; a Vanilla Ice Cream recipe from Dharm and a Vanilla Ice Cream recipe from Wendy as the challenge.

With only 3 ingredients (chocolate, butter and eggs) this deliciously moist and delicate flourless cake truly brings out the flavour and quality of the chocolate you choose to use.

Layered with rasperry conserve and served with a vanilla bean ice-cream, this is one of the most delicious cakes I've made. And so easy to make as well! This is one cake I will definitely be making again.

This must be the shgortest write-up I've seen but you've said it all. And your lovely cake says everything else.

Btw, why "Evil Lemons", Ahmad?

Yes you are exactly right - this is the BEST chocolate cake that I have ever made. Good on you I love the picture in the DBer forum and also the new pictures you used in this post. Since you only have three ingredients the way you make it is so important and the quality of the ingredients is also very very important. Since I found that the cake tasted exactly like the chocolate I used.

That's so beautiful, is that a chocolate collar you made? It just looks so tiny and cute :)

Look at your pretty little cake. I like that you just shot a picture of your cake-creation, leaving the vanilla ice cream out all together.
